All I want for Christmas is...

I am many things… a mom of two, veterinarian, and the resident vet for Telemundo, but did you know that I am also known by my friends as the best gifter ever? So, it’s a no brainer that Christmas my absolute favorite holiday.

Check out my top picks for gifts this holiday season:

For your gal pals:

There is something about the relaxation obtained from burning incense that cannot be achieved with candles or room sprays. My favorite scent is “Indian Temple Incense” and a no-name incense that I recently bought while I was traveling through Egypt. It’s perfect for burning at home after a long day at work. This gift set has 180 sticks with an incense holder a variety of scents: ocean, morning blosom, jasmine tea, rose geranium, sandalwood spice, and lavender rosemary.

For the clinic:

I recently redid my clinic in Miami and purchases several pieces of Pottery Barn Patio Furniture. The furniture in our lobby looks classy, feels comfortable, and easy to keep clean. Our clients really enjoy waiting in an elegant room.

For your self:

The spirit of giving should also include self-care. I absolutely adore CER-100 Hair Conditioner- it is my go to hair product. This conditioner keeps my hair shiny even after washing and blow drying it daily. It contains collagen and ceramide proteins to help keep hair strong and helps my hair smooth- even in the crazy Miami humidity.

For your team:

I have a meditation bell hanging in my office. When I finish dealing with an especially difficult client, I quietly ring the bell. It reminds me that the person is gone and that my mental peace has not been affected. At times my staff enters the office to ring the bell too, marking their return to peace after a challenging situation.

Coconut Hand Lotion by The Body Shop This is a rich, delicious smelling lotion that we keep on the clinic’s sinks. It smells delicious and keeps our hands soft, despite the multiple hand washings throughout the day.

For friends with tired feet:

Dansko Mary Jane Hospital Shoes make my feet happy. Even though I have a number of comfortable shoes of various brands, colors, and materials, I always end up wearing these shoes. They are cute and not as bulky as the classical Dansko shoes.

For the love in your life:

Keep the ones you love in shape with a gift card for fencing lessons. Fencing is a nice hobby that helps keep you in shape while utilizing your cognitive abilities. Plus you get to wear the cool uniform and play with a sword. A package of introductory classes makes a great gift for kids and adults alike.
