Canine heart base tumors treated with toceranib phosphate

Heart base tumors occur commonly in older, brachycephalic dogs and are typically diagnosed via echocardiogram.  Effective treatments so far have been limited to surgery (if possible) or radiation therapy.  This study suggests that medical therapy may also be an option.
