Salivary neoplasia in dogs and cats: 1996-2017
Researchers evaluated the records of 56 dogs and 24 cats that were diagnosed with salivary neoplasia from 26 veterinary teaching hospitals from 1996-2017.

The incidence of salivary neoplasia was calculated to be 15.3 per 100,000 dogs and 26.3 per 100,000 cats. There was no breed disposition within the feline species for salivary neoplasia, however with dogs, poodles were at a significant risk compared to mixed breeds.
