Opportunities of immunotherapy in dogs with B-cell lymphoma
A study examined dog that were treated with chemo-immunotherapy and compared with dogs treated with chemotherapy only. Three hundred dogs were included: 148 (49.3%) received chemotherapy and 152 (50.7%) chemo-immunotherapy.
Results showed that dogs receiving chemo-immunotherapy survived significantly longer. Among dogs with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, the survival rates were 51% for one year, 19% for year 2, and 10% for year 3 for dogs treated with chemo-immunotherapy.
