Three things you need to know about Lyme Disease

1. Preventing Lyme disease is all about preventing tick bite and attachment.

2. Where dogs go…so too go their people. Don’t forget to speak to dog-owners about risks, particularly in dogs that become seropositive on testing.

3. Doxycycline works quickly in clinical Lyme disease dogs…if a dog isn’t responding, consider a co-infection or another cause of the clinical signs.
