Dr. Jessica Turner wants you to make changes in your life for the better

On this episode of Living Well with Dr. Jessica, the other Dr. Jessica Turner veterinarian is our guest! Dr. Jessica Turner, worked for years first as an emergency vet and then later as a GP.  After years of balancing a career and mom-life, she experienced burnout and was later diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, rheumatoid arthritis.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic (long-lasting) autoimmune disease that mostly affects joints. RA occurs when the immune system, which normally helps protect the body from infection and disease, attacks its own tissues. The disease causes pain, swelling, stiffness, and loss of function in joints.

When faced with the possibly of pain and long term steroid treatment and the threat of ending up in a wheel chair, Dr. Jessica turned to holistic medicine to find answers.  And she did! Now she's on the road to recovery and has become a passionate advocate for holistic medicine.
