How to market to your Spanish speaking community

According to US Census, 13% of the population are native Spanish speakers. If you aren’t making an effort to attract Spanish speaking pet owners to your clinic, you are definitely missing out on revenue.

Below are three easy ways to connect with Spanish speakers in your community and encourage them to visit your clinic for their veterinary needs.

  1. Hire bilingual staff. Nothing makes a native Speaker more comfortable than having someone available to explain complicated veterinary information to them in their own language.

  2. Create bilingual signage and pamphlets and display them in your office. Many animal health companies offer brochures in Spanish- so check with your sales rep and order some.

  3. Make sure your clinics online presence has both English and Spanish information. That means add details to your google places page and make special posts in Spanish.
