Seoul National University College of Veterinary Medicine Becomes AAVMC’s 50 Member

Seoul National University in Korea has become the 50th member institution of the AAVMC. Their College of Veterinary Medicine was recently accredited by the Council on Education (COE).

The university was founded in 1946 as the first national university in Korea and is the largest campus in Seoul. The school includes about 2,600 full-time faculty members and enrolls about 28,000 undergraduate and graduate students.

“We are proud to welcome Seoul National University’s College of Veterinary Medicine to the AAVMC, and we congratulate them on earning their accreditation and on becoming our 50th member institution,” said AAVMC CEO Dr. Andrew T. Maccabe. “They are our first member from that region of the world, and we are pleased to see continued growth in our international membership.”
