What is a Life Coach?

What a “Life Coach” is:

A life coach is a partner who assists you in setting and achieving your goals; they help you take specific, strategic actions that get you from where you are to where you want to be.

What a “Life Coach” is not:

  • A consultant, who provides their own opinions or advice.

  • A mentor, who uses their own personal experience to be a “role model” for you to follow

  • A therapist, whose job is to diagnose and/or fix problems/issues or illnesses

How does coaching work?

Coaches are trained to implement powerful tools and strategies that engage your most positive, productive energy on mental, emotional, and physical levels, empowering you to reach goals beyond what you thought possible.

Who does coaching most benefit?

Someone who is ready for a change. You don’t need to force yourself to act, but you need to want to take action. You don’t need to do the work by yourself, but you need to believe that the work is worth doing.
