With unwavering determination, she embarked on her educational journey, enrolling in the Veterinary Nursing Program at St. Petersburg College. This decision would set the stage for her remarkable career in animal care.

During her pursuit of becoming a veterinary nurse, Paola's generosity shone brightly as she dedicated countless hours to volunteering at local animal shelters. Her selflessness and dedication eventually opened doors to a position at a nearby animal hospital. Paola's tireless efforts and commitment led her to evolve into a highly skilled veterinary technician, where her hands-on experience and passion for animals continued to flourish.

Today, Paola stands as a living testament to the power of pursuing one's dreams. She is living her childhood aspiration as she graces the halls of the University of Florida Small Animal Hospital. In this esteemed institution, Paola seamlessly combines her nursing expertise with her profound love for shelter animals. Her current role within the Veterinary Community Outreach Program, part of the shelter medicine department, allows her to extend her compassionate care to animals in need while embracing the career she holds dear to her heart.
