Durham County's Bahama Road Veterinary Hospital Is About to Open a $10 Million State-of-the-Art Facility—Here’s What You Need to Know!

After decades of providing care to the Durham County community, Bahama Road Veterinary Hospital is ready for an exciting new chapter. The beloved veterinary practice, which began in 1983 at Quail Roost Farm, is about to break ground on a state-of-the-art $10 million facility, just a few miles away from its current location. As part of this major transition, the hospital will also undergo a rebranding, becoming the Bahama Veterinary Medical Center upon the opening of its new location.

A New Home for Better Care

The new Bahama Veterinary Medical Center will be built on a sprawling 28-acre property, strategically located at the intersection of North Roxboro Road and Snow Hill Road. This move marks a significant step forward for the veterinary practice, as it seeks to expand its capacity to meet the growing demand for veterinary services in the area. With the new facility, the center will be able to accommodate more patients, offer advanced medical treatments, and enhance its service offerings to the Durham County community.

The relocation to this larger space allows for a modernized facility designed with the latest veterinary technologies, ensuring that pets receive the best possible care in a comfortable and efficient environment.

A Legacy of Care Continues

Founded more than 40 years ago, Bahama Road Veterinary Hospital has earned a reputation for compassionate, high-quality veterinary services. The transition to Bahama Veterinary Medical Center signals the continued dedication to excellence in animal care, now with even greater resources and a more expansive space to serve its clients.

With this new chapter, the hospital’s leadership hopes to further strengthen its connection with the local community and provide cutting-edge veterinary services. The new center will include expanded examination rooms, surgical suites, and diagnostic facilities, making it better equipped to handle the full range of veterinary needs for pets, from routine check-ups to emergency care.
