Rochester’s Lifesaving Emergency Vet Expands – See How Their New Facility is Revolutionizing Pet Care!

Rochester Emergency Veterinary Services (REVS) is expanding its emergency care services with the grand opening of a new, cutting-edge facility in East Rochester this fall. The new location on West Commercial Street will allow REVS to treat more overnight patients and offer a wider range of services, enhancing their ability to provide critical care for the region’s pets.

Dr. Bruce Ingersoll, one of REVS' founding veterinarians, shared details about the facility: "The new hospital will feature eight exam rooms, two surgery suites, and the ability to house up to 40 overnight patients. It will also be equipped with state-of-the-art ultrasound and digital x-ray technology."

REVS, which first opened its doors on University Avenue in February, has quickly become a vital resource for emergency veterinary care in Rochester. The new facility's expansion was made possible through a generous $500,000 gift from the Paul Klingenstein Family Foundation, with longtime supporter Irene Hess helping to champion the cause.

As the new hospital prepares to open, REVS is inviting the Rochester community to contribute to its mission of offering 24/7 emergency care for local pets.
