Veterinary Surgical Specialists of Orange County Breaks Ground on New, Ultramodern 10,000-Square-Foot Surgery Center

Since 1990, Veterinary Surgical Specialists of Orange County (VSSOC) has successfully cared for thousands of animals. Today, they proudly announce the commencement of construction on a new, state-of-the-art Surgery Center, located at 2937 Edinger Avenue, in Tustin, CA – in the same parking lot as their current location.

 

Scheduled to open in December 2024, the 10,000-square-foot facility will provide the community with world-class veterinary surgical care 7 days a week, from a team of 5 board-certified veterinary surgeons, and dozens of highly trained, experienced, and compassionate veterinary technicians and client service representatives.

Advanced veterinary surgical procedures performed at VSSOC include cardiothoracic, emergency/trauma, oncologic, minimally invasive, neurologic, orthopedic, soft tissue, and reconstructive, among others. PennHIP screening and an array of diagnostic imaging modalities are also available.

VSSOC was one of the first specialty practices to receive the Accredited Referral Practice designation by the American Animal Hospital Association over a decade ago. More than 900 aspects of the practice are evaluated to earn and keep this accreditation, further supporting the choice of VSSOC as the best surgical resource for a pet.

Their current location at 2965 Edinger Avenue in Tustin, CA, within the Advanced Veterinary Specialty Group (AVSG) building, affords them the ability to provide access to board-certified veterinary specialists in cardiology, dermatology, emergency/critical care, and internal medicine should a patient’s condition warrant a multi-specialty approach.
