Strategic Acquisition Strengthens Phibro’s Product Portfolio Across Cattle, Swine, and Poultry Sectors
Phibro Animal Health Corporation (Nasdaq: PAHC) has completed the acquisition of Zoetis Inc.’s (NYSE: ZTS) medicated feed additives and select water-soluble products, expanding its capabilities and supporting its mission to optimize animal health and nutrition for a sustainable future. This acquisition adds over 37 product lines to Phibro’s portfolio, covering a range of cattle, swine, and poultry health solutions distributed across approximately 80 countries.

The acquisition includes six manufacturing sites in the U.S., Italy, and China, along with a skilled team of over 300 employees dedicated to manufacturing and distribution. Larry Miller, Phibro’s Chief Operating Officer, emphasized the broad impact of the acquisition, noting that it benefits not only Phibro’s customers but also consumers and investors by ensuring safe, sustainable food production and expanding Phibro’s revenue base.
“This acquisition is a win across the board. It strengthens our solutions for animal health, supports sustainable food production, and diversifies our revenue base to fuel further investments in fast-growing animal health product categories,” Miller said.
Financial Impact and Outlook
The acquisition is expected to boost Phibro’s profitability and EBITDA margin, becoming accretive to its Adjusted Earnings Per Share. Additional financial insights will be shared during Phibro’s Q1 earnings call on November 7th.
