She has served as the BCP Coordinator for the local VBMA Chapter, is the Vice President of UW Madison SAVMA, and holds a position on the WVMA Executive Board as the Student Representative. Her goal? To become a board-certified Anesthesiologist upon completing her DVM.

Despite her busy life, Ashley finds time for herself and her interests. She enjoys hiking with her family and their two dogs, Karl and Kevin, traveling, reading, enjoying coffee, and horseback riding – activities that keep her grounded and connected to the world beyond veterinary medicine.

Ashley's advice for her younger self and others in similar situations is profound: "Everything happens for a reason. Life is an imperfect experience but such a wonderful experience." This mindset has helped her navigate the challenges of vet school while being a nurturing mother and supportive wife.
