Wild parsnip induced photosensitization

Researchers evaluated the photosensitization properties of Wild parsnip (Pastinaca sativa.)  Goats fed wild parsnip were largely unaffected. Cutaneous application of the plant produced severe photodermatitis in goats and a horse.
